What makes me so fake?
- - The fake Violet, Post-SCrash Session 3: Spectators of the Host
Someone purporting to be Violet Beauregarde, but often referred to by the narrators as "the fake Violet", appears in Post-SCrash Session 3: Spectators of the Host as a secondary character.
Family[]
Biography[]
She first appears in Chapter 14 of Spectators of the Host, during Violet's tour of Beauregarde Chewing Gum Industry. Violet introduces her as a prisoner she captured in AG 1971. Then, she appears, wearing "a blue dress not unlike that of Aranna Sorket", and introduces herself as Violet, only for "the real Violet" to correct her and move on.
She appears in the tour once again, hugging her alternate and calling her "Ms. Leader of This Place". Violet then proceeds to put her in the Great Glass Elevator, where she and Mike Teavee escape Beauregarde Chewing Gum Industry and enter The Chocolate Factory. Mike is able to convince her to not think of her alternate as her superior, given that Beauregarde Chewing Gum Industry rips off The Chocolate Factory.
The fake Violet, Mike and Willy Wanker then enter a discussion about her, in which she refers to blowing up into a blueberry as something that did not happen to her. Before long, though, the real Violet finds her and takes her back into the factory.
She appears once again, along with Violet's siblings, Klaus and Sunny M. Beauregardes. Klaus and Sunny recognize the fake Violet as real, and purports that she is being imprisoned.
She is eventually unveiled to be the actual character in the end of Spectators of the Host, as it turns out "the real Violet" was actually Marrissa Roberts. As it happens, Marrissa hands over Beauregarde Chewing Gum Industry to her, but this title is taken away as Marrissa's daughter, Chell Junor Roberts, argues out the case and claims the company for herself, alongside Marrissa/Violet's adoptive child and Chell Junor's husband, Skepness Man Beauregarde.
Trivia[]
- The term "the fake Violet" is mentioned twice in Violet and the Horrible Fanfic Writer and occasionally in its sequel Violet and the Partner in Crime to Literature, to refer to Violet in ASBusinessMagnet's body, as ASBusinessMagnet in Violet's body believes to actually be Violet.
