As of December 25, 2017, she has abandoned both writing for Portal and her FanFiction.Net account, and therefore, more likely than not her MST as well.
She does not MST the fic as herself. Instead, The Unfortunate Discovery of Marissa Roberts revolves around the Portal characters reading ITS MY LIFE!. They have been commented to be surprisingly in-character.
Korekara is mentioned once in Invader Zim: Born Again Christian, as "Kokoreeah". As she is a falmer troll, she has been crucified by Dib; her further fate is unknown.
Plot of The Unfortunate Discovery of Marissa RobertsEdit
GLaDOS originally discovers ITS MY LIFE! among her files, labeled as "DO NOT READ UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. CONTAINS HARMFUL DATA.". Considering that the fic is intriguing, but the effects of it on her computerized brain would be unbearable, after the first chapter GLaDOS invites Chell to read. Chell quickly breaks down and pleads GLaDOS not to continue, but they continue, out of GLaDOS's pure interest in human reaction. From Chapter 5 on, Wheatley also joins GLaDOS and Chell, but also breaks down and almost drops a bottomless pit. Throughout later chapters, Space Core and Rick the Adventure Core also join, and also are debilitated, making them drop out.
Near the end of the story, Marrissa Roberts herself is hinted to appear, via a mural that depicts the ITS MY LIFE! characters and the writing saying "Marrissa ish herre". However, it was actually drawn by Doug Rattmann. Rattmann is then revealed to be the only fan of Marrissa's writing in the story, as the other characters despise the story.
The story has elements of meta in its background, as GLaDOS and the others constantly consider the idea that Marrissa could exist; however, this is to be left ambiguous throughout the entire story. Nevertheless, Rattmann draws another mural, showing the Portal characters being puppeteered by a dark figure, which in turn is puppeteered by Marrissa.
