Inside Out is a play staged by Skepness Man Beauregarde and Chell Junor Roberts and produced by Beauregarde Chewing Gum Industry. It takes a peek inside the mind of Riley Andersen (played by Skepness Man and Chell Junor's daughter, Violet Beauregarde, Jr.), who is controlled by five basic emotions: Joy (Chell Junor), Sadness (Aranna Sorket), Fear (Skepness Man), Disgust (Joey Claire) and Anger (Cranky Vasquez).
Plot[]
While not much about the plot of Inside Out is known, it is presumed to be identical to the Disney/Pixar version, as it includes identical lines and plot turns (such as the death of Bing Bong, Riley's imaginary friend).
Production[]
The time during which the production of Inside Out lasted is unknown, but some preparatory work likely has been done, including posters in the city of Portal High School, one of which Principal Business Lady had noticed, months prior to the premiere. This preparatory work involved both Beauregarde Chewing Gum Industry and the Time Police, known to be good friends of Skepness Man and Chell Junor in other MarissaTheWriter stories.
The idea of Inside Out 2 was brought up almost immediately after the premiere's conclusion by Principal Business Lady, but the idea was put on hold as Skepness Man and Aranna Sorket entered a disagreement which resulted in the deaths of Skepness Man and Joey Claire and was the cause for Violet Beauregarde, Jr.'s disability. Nevertheless, Aranna continues to plot a hypothetical Inside Out 2, intended to focus on the emotions of Logic Editor's character, throughout the course of Meanie Pixies' Hour of Fame.
Reactions[]
In the Marrissaverse, Inside Out is well-received. At the premiere in the City of Portal High School Center of Culture, it emotionally affects every attendant, including people such as Principal Business Lady and Rebecca Sugar-Vasquez, who rarely if ever cry. The premiere is the central focus of a oneshot written by ASBusinessMagnet, The AG 1991 Premiere of Inside Out.
The play is what eventually caused Chell Junor to rename herself to Chell Joy, after Rebecca Sugar-Vasquez conflated the character and the actor playing her.
Cast[]
The stars of Inside Out are all recognizable MarissaTheWriter characters. The five people playing as the emotions coincide with the five main characters of Post-SCrash Session 3: Spectators of the Host.

Trivia[]
- The release date of Inside Out in the Marrissaverse, August 14, AG 1991, is a reference to the release date of the Disney/Pixar version in Lithuania, August 14, 2015.
- In real life, Ben Stiller was intended to be part of the cast of Disney/Pixar's Newt, a project which, when it was transferred to Pete Docter, was shelved and replaced with Inside Out.
- In the Marrissaverse take on Inside Out 2, the actors playing Fear and Disgust, Skepness Man and Flashlight Girl, cannot be recast as they die in the first chapter of Meanie Pixies' Hour of Fame (their status as chronomads who could be recast earlier in life notwithstanding). In real life, their counterparts, Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling, refused to return due to pay disputes.
